We enjoyed Vintage at Goodwood last year , but now Vintage at Goodwood is no longer . Vintage comes to London, renamed Vintage in London.

It takes place over the weekend of the 29th, 30th and 31st July over a 21 acre section of the Embankment, including The Royal Festival Hall, The Hayward Gallery, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room and The British Film Institute, plus shops, restaurants and bars. The Thames Embankment itself will be transformed into a Vintage Wonderland too.

According to the first press release, all the clubs, bands, fashion, art, design, film, shopping, retailers, dancing and workshops of the original event will be re-created, along with some new editions covering everything from the 1920s to the 1980’s. To include new additions warehouse parties, the Blitz Club, along with the Wigan Casino. There will also be a film hosted by the British Film Institute featuring the best of the 20th century cinema.

You can find out the full line-up nearer the time, pre-register now for news and updates about the event at the Vintage 2011 website.

See you all there.
