I’ve always loved old seed packets, the older the better. Early ninetenth century are  my favourites, companies like Peter Henderson & Co and Lovett’s. These early seed packets are similar to posters, beautiful typography, with rich coloured flowers enticing you to grow these wonderful blooms.

I think my love for seed packets began as a child hanging out in my Dad’s potting shed. Dad’s a great gardener and use to buy job lots of garden memorabilla, to stash away in his shed for future use.

We have been busy harvesting last years Poppy and Hollyhock seeds from our own garden to share with you this spring. All orders in March will receive a free packet of each. I hope you get the chance to plant and like our seed packets too.
